Since the beginning of April, we've been collecting zines about people's experience dealing with quarantine and Covid-19 - now known as quaranzines. The media has taken note of our efforts. Jenna Freedman has spoken with NPR and Library Journal about the program.
“People who make zines aren’t the same people as the ones who are reporting on pandemic life on TV, in the newspaper, and in other outlets, and they have different stories to tell," Jenna explained to Library Journal. Our Zine Library focuses on zine's created by women and nonbinary people, and that's stayed true for our quaranzine collection as well.
